6G-MIMOLink – Massive MIMO Innovation for 6G Communications

The project is developing scalable Massive MIMO access points with smart pixel arrays for maximum data rates and energy efficiency in the FR3 band

A novel smart-pixel architecture enables a single baseband radio unit to efficiently control multiple antennas. This enables scalable Massive MIMO transceivers, which are demonstrated in two scenarios: Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) as a replacement for the last mile, and a hotspot scenario with optimized beam tracking in the FR3 frequency band.
